Aiden's Accents

 I saw this post about the British voice the other day and laughed so hard because it just reminded me so much of Aiden. One thing that I'm not sure everyone knew about him is how funny is accents were, and that he was always speaking in some kind of different accent. His favorites were a British accent and an Indian accent, and he had the absolute BEST Marge Simpson voice. I asked him all the time to say something like Marge Simpson and he rarely ever did, but every now and then he would bust out his Marge Simpson voice, usually when he was making fun of me for something, and it was hilarious every single time. When we were on our cruise to Mexico, he heard a mom and little girl talking to each other and they had a British accent. The mom asked the daughter if she wanted some melons and the little girl said, "yes mummy I want some melons." And he repeated that a million times ever since our cruise in his British accent and it was always so funny. Most everything else he said in his British accent began with "oy Bruv..." and I swear there were times when he actually said that exact same phrase "bit sad innit" so it was really funny when I saw that post. We definitely heard "innit" often 😉

His other favorite was his Indian accent, which stemmed from the stupidest movie on earth called Master of Disguise, where Dana Carvey did all sorts of different impersonations. In one he is a snake charmer with an Indian accent and is talking to a snake named Buttercup. Well, Aiden would always say, "do you want the cheese buttercup, I know you want it..." and "naughty, naughty" in his Indian accent. It was always so funny, and it was one of the biggest things I think the kids and all of us will always remember. I think he talked in his accents way more than he talked normally😉 I can still hear him say every one of these things like it was yesterday. I wish we had a recording of him saying them, but it's ok even if we don't because it happened so often that I know none of us will ever forget😉❤️ it was just part of his fun, hilarious, Aiden personality that we all loved so much ❤️❤️❤️

 These were from Astoria and the Peter Iredale shipwreck on the Oregon coast. We went and saw the Goonies House, Astoria Column, and the cool ships in the harbor. The kids really liked the shipwreck and it was really fun to go visit, they loved playing in the sand and on the beach, and Aiden was such a good sport and let everyone bury him. Sleep Shenanigans

 Aiden and his sleeping shenanigans was the funniest thing ever. He was always sleep walking, sleep talking, and when he got tired, it didn't matter where he was, he would just tip over. I can't even count how many times he fell asleep at the dinner table 😆 He rarely made it through movies. One time at a hotel he almost sleep walked out the door in the middle of the night, luckily it had one of those locks at the top so every time he pulled the door it slammed into that and woke me up! Another time he came walking out to the living room and we had a set of stairs between it and his room. He sat down on the stairs and I was like, "hey buddy, whatcha doin?" he looked at me and said, "what does it look like I'm doing?" and laid down on a stair and went back to sleep. Don't Go Out and Break Your Stupid Arm

Oh Mr. Aiden... This whole incident was just CRAZY 🤦 One day Aiden wanted to go and climb the tree in our yard. I was cooking dinner and didn't want him to, and as he was walking out the door I said, "you better be careful! Don't go out there and break your stupid arm!" 5 minutes later, he came back in all pale, nauseous, and covered in dirt and was like, "mom, I think I broke my arm" and I was like YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! I told you NOT to go out and do that!!!  I took one look at it and was like, yep...arms are definitely not supposed to look like that...that's broken. And indeed it was...displaced and everything, and of course ended up needing surgery🤦 So surgery day came, and I told him multiple times.... Nothing to eat or drink after midnight. We had to be there really early in the morning so as I'm getting ready I hear some rustling out in the kitchen and yelled, what are you doing!? You better not be eating! Silence. So I go running...
