Junior Prom

This was for his Jr. Prom. He went with two of his best friends, Brad and Shad, and his date, Abby. She looked beautiful and I thought they looked adorable together❤️He cleaned up nice😉...although not without effort because he liked to stress me out and not tell me til like, 3 days before that he was even going...which was also when he told me he needed a suit, because he had grown out of his last one😳

I knew we were usually one of the last local schools to have prom, and there really aren't very many places to get a suit around here so yep...it was time to work a miracle😳😉😆  So we hightailed it  to Idaho Falls and spent hours going to multiple different places that didn't have any, until finally we went to Men's Wearhouse...where I quickly learned that their suits are not cheap😆...but it was also our last hope of finding anything. They were way picked over and we had a really hard time finding his size . Finally after an hour of looking, and trying on, and figuring out what size he even wore, we found one...!🙌 But it was waaay more expensive than I had anticipated, and even worse....not hemmed. They assured me this was fine because they had seamstresses. They could totally hem it for us. In a month. I was like oh my gosh, what!? WE NEED IT IN 3 DAYS!!!! at this point I was about ready to give up. It was way too expensive anyway. But I took one last look at this boy that I loved so much and said, you know what it's fine...i love ramen noodles😉 and credit cards😆

I also had one more idea of how we might be able to make it work and called my Grandma Ruby. Her sister, my Aunt Edith, is an incredible seamstress. She lives about an hour away and I knew this was going to be short notice and that she's really busy, but I talked to my grandma and then called my Aunt Edith, and being the incredible person she is, she way squeezed us in the next day to get it hemmed for him!!!

When it was all finally said and done, it felt like it was only because of many miracles but...WE DID IT!!!! 🙌 And then it took a bunch of messing around and me telling him to actually open his eyes and him laughing really hard to actually get a good picture...but we did that too😉
