Memories of Aiden

 When we moved out to our new house, we did a ton of work on our land together. Work hard, play hard right? That's kind of how we've always lived our life 😉❤️ There was an old, abandoned trailer house shell that we had to break down and haul off, I have no idea why that was there, but 11,000 lbs and a bunch of trips to the landfill later...we did it! 🙌 Aiden wasn't afraid to get in there and work hard. He was a really hard worker and helped us so much all the time ❤️ I always knew that he'd get his chores done before he played the x-box or whatever it was he wanted to do and I'll forever be proud of him for his work ethic. He was just such a great kid 🥲❤️

 Aiden's 15th birthday ❤️ This first one with all the kids will forever be one of my favorites...they were just so cute and loved their big brother so much 🥲 This was also one where I realized how much they all look alike...I see Aiden in different ways in all of them. In the way they look and the characteristics they have too, and I love all the little reminders of him... He's still with us in so many ways ❤️

Ashley and Devin got this picture of Aiden working at McDonald's ❤️  I'm so glad they did because when I tried to get one of him in his mcdonalds uniform, he ripped my phone out of my hand and took these goofball pictures and said that's all i get... They were so funny, but what I wanted was a good picture of him in his McDonald's uniform, dang kid🤦😆 so I was so glad they got such a good one of him! He really liked his job at McDonald's🥲❤️

 We found this in Colton's scripture case recently, the ward bulletin from April 9th that Aiden was drawing with the kids in church 🥲❤️ this was always their favorite thing to do during sacrament meeting, and it was especially precious to find this one 🥲 their sacrament meeting pictures were always hilarious ❤️

 This was on Mother's Day 🥲❤️ Aiden went shopping for me and came home with this ice cream. It was especially thoughtful because it was special ice cream I could eat on the diet I was on 🥲 I was impressed that he had done that and that he had put that much thought into it 🥲❤️ Plus it was actually really good ice cream, it was cookie dough😉 I love this silly picture of him, I made him reenact giving it to me so I could get his picture 😆 He's just the cutest. I've missed him extra since Mother's Day recently so I've been thinking about this one a lot lately... Love you so much buddy 🥲❤️ I'll always remember you on Mother's Day❤️ and I'll always be so grateful to have had you for 16 Mothers Days, we almost made it to 17 but not quite😢💔 I'm so glad you were my boy, even if it hurts so much to miss you now ❤️ I'll see you again someday ❤️

 Aiden and Shira. She showed up on our doorstep as a tiny kitten in 2019 and we thought it would just be temporary, but she ended up staying...Aiden pestered her to absolute pieces, but he loved her and she loved him 😉❤️ Last Christmas we all sat together next to our Christmas tree and before we opened presents, we watched a video of Aiden opening presents on his birthday so we could feel like he was part of opening presents that day too🥲❤️ As we were listening to a part where Aiden was talking, Shira ran over and started meowing a lot and looking all around... We could tell she heard him and was looking for him🥲❤️ It was both heartbreaking and so sweet, she loved Aiden too🥲 some of my favorite pictures are of Aiden and Shira❤️ There was also one time when she had to have some medicine drops and I needed someone to help me give them to her.  A few more favorite random pics 🥰 cooking smores and I love Aiden's faces and how much everyone's laughing... They were having so much fun 🥲❤️ I love the one of all the kids surrounding trav, and then smiling in front of the mirror they expo markered. Then Aiden and Colton kayaking, a movie date with Aiden and Sadie, and Aiden taking Colton and Lynlee on a 4-wheeler ride. So many good memories, Aiden was just so much fun ❤️

 This was one time for family home evening when we made homemade gak! It was the weirdest thing, you made it using liquid laundry starch and like, Elmer's glue or something crazy. I still remember this so well, it was so fun and the kids loved it so much! They talked about this night for years after❤️

 This was one of the first movies that Aiden and Sadie ever went to together. We went and watched How to Train Your Dragon in 3D. I love these pictures of all of us messing around at our house (and in the car) with the 3D glasses on!, 🤣 I still remember how good Aiden and Sadie were at the movie, and laughing because they would jump at some parts because the movie looked surreal and all the 3D stuff was jumping out at them. Such a sweet memory with these 2❤️
