Bryce Canyon 2013

Image
Bryce Canyon NP 2013. Aiden was 7, Sadie was 5, and Lynlee was tiny, like 5 months old, but having a tiny baby never deterred us from going anywhere, we just adapted as needed and went anyway Lol! We used to have a bottle warmer that we hooked up to an inverter in whatever car we were driving so we could have warm water for bottles and didn't have to worry if we were in the middle of nowhere😉 I love these pictures of Aiden and Sadie, they were just the cutest besties❤️ from 2013 to 2016 we were fortunate to live in saratoga springs where we were only like, 3-4 hours from all the Utah national parks so we took advantage and went to them all the time❤️ We really liked Bryce Canyon and I'm so glad we took the opportunity to visit as much as we could while we were so close ❤️ Our kids have always been the cutest explorers, they got used to being in the parks at a very young age😉

Lower Calf Creek Falls

Image
This is one of my favorite hikes ever... Lower calf creek falls ❤️ sadly, I don't get to post all that many hiking Adventures because somewhere along the way you little rats have decided you hate hiking, you little menaces😆 but once upon a time, there were days that we all went on some awesome hikes together😉 this one was probably the hardest you ever did, I think we did one that was longer than this one, but definitely easier. This isn't the easiest hike, it's super sandy and everyone knows hiking in sand sucks. But the falls were amazing! Aiden even went and jumped in, the crazy kid, it was only like the first week of April!😆 He was always the only one who would jump into things like this, even from the time he was little he was the one who was up for anything ❤️ he was adventurous and adorable from the very beginning. Our fun, free-spirited adventure buddy ❤️ Love you buddy, I'm so glad we got to go on this hike with you ❤️❤️❤️

A Trip to Vernal to See the Petroglyphs

Image
We really like petroglyphs. Like...a LOT. We never get tired of seeing them, and I'm sure we have a thousand pictures in a thousand different places, but if there's ever a chance to see any wherever we go, we always go find them!!! This was one of our favorite petroglyph finds.... A place called 9 mile road in vernal, UT. Vernal isn't up to much, but we've taken a few trips over there and there are some really cool things to see❤️ the petroglyph panel that you guys are standing in front of is called the great hunt and is awesome, and the giant Buffalo is a different one, but might be my favorite petroglyph ever 😉 This was a really fun trip with all of us, and I'm pretty sure we went to see uncle trevor and fam, but i can't remember for sure!  If this is the right trip, then we went to some other cool places too and I'll have to find the rest of our pics, it was a lot of fun! ❤️ k

The Time we Stayed in a Yurt

Image
For spring break a couple years ago we were ready to get out of our cold weather so we headed down south and found this crazy yurt to stay in. We found some caves, slot canyons, a cool tunnel called Belly of the dragon, Moqui caves, a hike called Thor's Lookout that was surprisingly steeper and harder than I anticipated although I don't know what about the name didn't clue me in, and a really cool frozen waterfall. There was a precarious stream crossing to get over to the waterfall so we found a log and made our own bridge but it floated away. We got ice cream from an ice cream truck. It was such a fun trip and so nice to go find some nice weather! Those were our favorite kinds of trips, the ones where we found the most random things to do. They always turned out being the best adventures! Even as a teenager with friends and high school and all the teenage things, Aiden still always liked our crazy little getaways❤️ They weren't always extravagant, but they were always...

Back to School Pics Through the Years

Image
Back to school pics K-12, as many as I could find which I think is most of them 😉 you're all just the best kids ever ❤️ I just think he's the cutest, sweetest, best boy ever, and he was from the very beginning❤️ He grew up to be so smart, so capable, just such an all around awesome kid. I wish we could have seen him go out and do great things in the world. I don't doubt he would have. It will hurt my heart forever to never get to know him all grown up. He would have been amazing😢❤️ Love you so much buddy. We will forever look forward to the day when we'll see you again. I hope you can tell us about all you've been needed for in heaven, and that you were needed for even more amazing things there 😢❤️ we'll miss you every minute until we meet again 😢💔🥲❤️
